Paving Support | Fixed Head Adjustable Pedestal have 4mm spacer tabs to create a small gap between the Porcelain Paving slabs for drainage. These pedestals allow Porcelain Paving slabs to be set directly upon the head.

Can I remove the tabs off the pedestal head?
Yes, there are times when you will need to remove these tabs - the easiest way to remove them is by using a pair of pliers
How do I support a tile near a wall?
Each pedestal has a cut line on the under side of the base so that the base can be trimmed down to support the tile as close to the wall as possible
