Ovaeda Composite Decking In-Depth overview

B&Q vs OVAEDA Composite Decking: Which Composite Decking is Best for you?

Ovaeda’s Composite Decking Ranges are all of extremely high quality, with multiple different colours and finishes available to choose from. Ovaeda has three main decking ranges, which are all available in multiple different colours.

All of Ovaeda’s composite deck boards are manufactured from a very fine, high-density composite, which allows the board to be produced with a hollow structure but remains as strong, often stronger, than most solid composite boards on the market.  The key benefit of the hollow board structure is reduced weight, making them all easy to handle and install. It also makes Ovaeda’s composite decking great to use on terraces and balconies, too, as the lightweight composition of our decking and aluminium subframes has minimum effect on the below membrane.

Ovaeda’s Best Composite Decking Features

  • Best feature 1: Large Range of colours and finishes available
  • Best feature 2: All boards are reversible – allows you to choose which way up you lay your decking, and also create attractive colour contrasts in your decking area

B&Q In-Depth Overview

B&Q vs OVAEDA Composite Decking: Which Composite Decking is Best for you?

B&Q are a large DIY store, with depots throughout the UK. They supply a large range of products but do not specialise in outdoor products specifically.

B&Q’s Composite Decking ranges are sourced from multiple suppliers, which are then delivered in the main, direct to you from the supplier. As this is the case, they do have multiple ranges to choose from, with varying guarantees and delivery times.

The quality of the deckboard from B&Q does vary, depending on which board you select. The best quality board that they stock is the Fiberon Good life board, which is capped on one side to help protect it from the elements. Being a one-sided cap can cause some issues, and in some instances, cause boards to pull up and warp.

B&Q also works with multiple other suppliers to provide a variety of deckboards, which gives then a good range of colours, finishes, and lengths to choose from.

B&Qs Best Composite Decking Features

  • Best feature 1: Varied range of colours to choose from
