Porcelain Paving is completely resistant to water absorption. As a result, it is exceptionally resistant to staining, and can easily be pressure washed clean. Aftercare
OVAEDA’s Porcelain Paving slabs are a low maintenance product, but care should be taken to look after it to keep it in the best condition for many years. Periodic maintenance with mild soapy water will keep the surface of the porcelain paving looking its best. Work in small manageable areas and always rinse with clean water then allow to air-dry completely.
FAQ
Can I lay pordelain just on pedestals?
Yes you can but we would only recommend using the fixed head pedetal as you can get some movement on the self levelling pedestal
Do I need to prime my tiles?
If you are laying your tiles using the traditional wet lay method, then yes, you do need to prime the tiles. This is because porcelain is a non-porous product and therefore to ensure a proper bond between base and tile we must prime them
How many pedestals do I need?
A 60x60 tile needs to be supported in every corner, a 60x90 and 80x80 tile need to have a addittional central support, and a 30x120 and 60x120 must have an addittional support down each side
Why should I use porcelain over natural stone?
There are many reasons! To list a few, stunning modern look, no mainteneance required like natural stone, non-porous meaning less algae growth.
