Tectonic® Aluminium Decking Support Joists are an extremely strong and very long lasting alternative to timber joists. Available in both 'mill finish' and 'powder coated' finishes, ranging from 22 - 72mm height, these high performance joists can be used for installed with all types of OVAEDA Composite Decking boards.

We hold all of our material in stock, so once your order is placed, we are able to arrange the next available delivery slot in your area. FAQ

What joist is most cost effective?
This depends on the height build up that you have. If you have enough height, it is always the most cost effective to use the 72mm joist as when using this, we can reduce the amount of pedestals require due to the distance it can span between supports
Black or Silver?
Silver is the most cost effective, but this can sometimes be seen down the 6mm gap between boards. The hidden fixing t-clip covers most of the visible joist but for a perfect finish, choose black!
Why choose aluminium joist over timber?
Simply, because they last the longest! If you are installing a long lasting composite decking, then you don’t want the suframe to fail and need replacing in 5-10 years when the composite still has many years of life left!
Can I install it my self?
Yes, our systems are DIY friendly. However, we also work with a team of approved installers.
